Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Application Support Officer for our client a local government organisation in Bristol.
The successful candidate will join the Finance Application team, which is part of the Corporate Application team in the organisation.
They will use Unit4 ERP finance system and are in the process of migrating to Unit4 SaaS product. They will provide support to a project which is looking at making improvements to how the organisation are collecting outstanding debt and automating process where possible.
There will be a requirement to create reports/provide data to help inform decisions.
This role is a 4 month initial contract with the possibility to extend. This role is a hybrid role where you can mainly work from home however as and when required you will attend the office. You will be expected to come to Bristol to collect your equipment and undertake an induction.
Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:
1. .Manage the development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of Application Support policies, processes, procedures and standards.
2. Manage the implementation of service improvement working in partnership with internal/external stakeholders.
3. Provide and monitor an effective Application Support Function. Manage the day-to-day activities, ensuring service levels are maintained and continually improved.
