This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK&I Consulting Quality Team within EY, based in Belfast. The team ensures high standards in service delivery by implementing global policies, procedures, and principles, while managing contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements to mitigate risks on client engagements.
Reporting to the Belfast Team Leader, you will support the Consulting business with legal, contract review, regulatory, and risk management matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in general contracting principles, drafting standard contracts, terms and conditions, and other regulatory documents, preferably with a background in professional services or the legal sector.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate with Legal, Independence, and Business Resilience teams.
* Review and resolve contractual and risk-related queries, including business relationships, liability, regulatory independence, data protection, third-party risk, confidentiality agreements, and general contracting principles.
* Review and advise on client agreements, NDAs, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents, ensuring compliance with EY guidelines.
* Provide training on Risk Management practices, contract review procedures, and related topics.
* Address contract issues, escalating as necessary, and propose improvements to quality and contracting processes.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to solve complex problems and build trusted relationships.
* Identify and manage regulatory requirements, including independence considerations.
* Support Risk Management projects and initiatives.

Additional Skills

* Proven experience in Risk Management, Contract Negotiation, Procurement, or Professional Services.
* Academic background preferred; outstanding candidates with alternative paths are considered.
* Fluency in English required.
