Overview
Can you MAKE IT HAPPEN? We are appointing on a permanent basis a dynamic and enthusiastic Customer & Business Support Section Lead to support the Council's drive to become Council of the Future. This role is hybrid, based within the Falkirk Community Stadium.
You will be educated to SVQ level 3 or equivalent and have highly developed communication and IT skills, ideally with intermediate/advanced level in the use of Microsoft Office. You will also have knowledge and experience of local authority services and data protection legislative requirements. You will have a positive can do’ attitude and the drive to make it happen by directly supporting the implementation of continuous change and improvements.
Responsibilities
* Directly supporting the implementation of continuous change and improvements.
* Managing a large group of staff across different teams and ensuring excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
* Sound planning and organisation to work to deadlines within a busy team.
* Managing a large staff group / resources and monitoring financial transactions.
Qualifications and experience
* Educated to SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
* Highly developed communication and IT skills; ideally trained to intermediate/advanced level in the use of Microsoft Office.
* Knowledge and experience of local authority services and data protection legislative requirements.
* A positive can-do attitude with the drive to deliver improvements.
Job details
The post is permanent, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. This post will be hybrid, working within the Falkirk Community Stadium.
