Overview
Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. We're currently searching for a Senior Support Worker to join our supported living service in Trowbridge. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people. As a Senior Support Worker, you will help people gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You may allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, support supervision, order medication, and ensure the people we support are properly assisted. You will remain focused on why you chose this work, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.
Senior Support Workers must have the right experience and values. At this service, Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or be working towards it), as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma. A driving license and your own transport are required for this role.

Responsibilities
* Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the supported living service in Trowbridge, working with the Manager to supervise and manage the service.
* Allocate shifts, book training, induct new colleagues, and contribute to supervision processes.
* Order medication and ensure the people we support receive appropriate assistance.
* Maintain a focus on person-centered support and safeguarding in all activities.
Qualifications
* Experience as a Senior Support Worker and Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
* Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
* Driving licence and own transport.
