Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical

Pay: £49,000 - £56,000 DOE
Hours: Panama Shift (Days Only - 12 hrs): 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off (they run 6am to 6pm and 10am to 10pm – rotation discussed at interview)
Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays
Holidays: 22 shifts.
Overview:
We now require a maintenance engineer to join the team. Working a role where most of the faults are mechanically biased with a large emphasis on hydraulics, the ideal maintenance engineer will have previous experience working with hydraulics with some basic electrical skills beneficial – changing like for like parts etc. The role is predominantly mechanical faults, however some electrical skills beneficial.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
* To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
* Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
* PPM’s
The ideal candidate / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
* Time served apprentice trained or above
* Experienced working with Hydraulic focused machinery
* Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
* An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given – the company provide electrical courses offsite)
