Roles and Responsibilities

Manage a complex caseload of children in need of protection and those subject to public law proceedings.

Conduct comprehensive Section 47 investigations and produce high-quality assessments to inform interventions.

Represent the council in court, providing expert testimony and detailed reports to ensure the child’s best interests.

Mentor and provide informal supervision to less experienced staff members to foster professional growth.

Collaborate with multi-agency partners such as schools, health professionals, and police to develop protection plans.
