We are currently recruiting for a Health Care Assistant to join the team in Brynsiencyn.
Duties include:
To provide care in accordance with best practice and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and procedures and agreed standards under the direction of the Senior Carer/Nurse
To support and enable individuals to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual
To maintain skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as required, from time to time, to maintain and progress knowledge
The Carer's responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Ensure individuals are at the heart of care delivery and that their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing
To contribute to the efficient running of the service
Support individuals to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
Ensure personal plans and other information about how to support individuals are followed
Be responsible for informing the Senior Carer/Nurse of any changes in the needs of individuals
Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of those individuals supported by the service
Develop effective working relationships with other employees within the service
Work in cooperation with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for individuals

Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by management;

Hours - 24 hours a week, to work alternate weekend with a 4 weekly rolling rota.
The shifts will be 4 x 6-hour shifts 8am - 2pm or 2pm - 8pm.
