Working Hours: Various shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm
A well:established nursery in Croydon is seeking a full:time Nursery Assistant to join their team from January. This is a long:term opportunity with the potential to become permanent, supporting children across the baby room, toddlers, and preschool.
The nursery is looking for a reliable and nurturing practitioner who can contribute to a safe, stimulating, and caring environment and support children at each stage of their early development.
Key Responsibilities:

Support childrens learning and development across baby, toddler, and preschool rooms
*
Assist with daily routines, including personal care and mealtimes
*
Help create a safe, engaging, and well:organised learning environment
*
Support age:appropriate, play:based activities
*
Work collaboratively with room leaders and the wider nursery team
*
Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Requirements:
*
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
*
Confidence supporting children across different age groups
*
A caring, patient, and proactive approach
*
Ability to commit to a long:term role with the intention of becoming permanent
*
Good understanding of safeguarding within early years settings
