Description - Adolphus Care provide health and well being support workers to adults with mild/moderate learning disabilities and/or mental health problems. We are currently looking for bank and part time staff within our service users supported living accommodation. No two days are the same, one day you could be assisting service users to access education or work opportunities, the next could be shopping and a trip to the cinema.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring service users health and well being is supported following the 8 pillars of well being structure-
* Occupational
* Spiritual
* Emotional

* Physical

* Environmental
* Intellectual
* Ensuring all relevant documents and paperwork is completed to a high and accurate standard at the end of each shift
* Ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times including health and safety and safeguarding
* Additional tasks required by the service such as cleaning, audits and making sure all your mandatory training provided by Adolphus is completed and up to date
Requirements
* Experience within Health and Social care particularly with adults with learning disabilities and mental health problems
* Flexibility to work a shift pattern including some weekends and one sleep in shift per week
* Genuine kindness and the want to help empower those who need support to live their best lives
* A can do attitude with the understanding the needs of services change over time so adaptability is essential
