Social Media Executive Location: Glasgow/Hybrid

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join our Marketing and Social Media team.
The successful candidate must have demonstrable experience in a range of social media platforms and a passion for telling stories in creative and engaging ways.
The Social Media Executive will have a keen eye for audience and content trends and play a lead role in creating and producing content that performs effectively on social platforms.
Creating, producing and editing a variety of assets, suitable for distribution on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Generate ideas on how to promote STV content across multiple platforms.
Write copy/video descriptions and publish across platforms.
Using metrics to optimise output and improve performance.
Support all functions of the social media team.
Flexibility to travel when required.
Detailed knowledge and understanding of social platforms and what it takes to make content succeed on each.
A passion and aptitude for creative and innovative story telling with a gift for connecting with people.
Demonstrable editing skills on leading video editing software systems.
Proven experience in using video and audio recording equipment.
A confident team player in a fast-moving creative environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
