IKEA Lakeside is looking to welcome customer order pickers to join our outbound fulfilment team. In IKEA we call this a fulfilment operations co-worker. It is a fast-paced, hands-on role focused on picking, packing, and prepping orders. If you enjoy moving with purpose and working as part of a team, this could be your perfect fit.
Responsibilities
* Using systems to pick and prepare customer orders in a timely manner.
* Manual handling of stock and operating within a warehouse environment.
* Working with heavy machinery such as forklift trucks and pump trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
* Prepare tasks with initiative and participate productively in team efforts.
What you’ll need to have
* Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; enthusiasm to thrive in an active workplace is required.
* Ability to prioritise and organise workload with attention to detail.
* Experience using technical equipment to boost productivity and efficiency.
* Be comfortable with extensive manual handling and be at least 18 years old.
What you’ll be doing day to day
* Pick and prepare customer orders using warehouse systems.
* Manual handling of heavy stock.
* Operate or be around heavy equipment safely to transport goods within the warehouse.
* Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for customers and co-workers.

* Competitive hourly rate of £13.85 per hour.
* Start Date of employment: 17th or 25th October 2025.
* Part-time opportunities with 16 or 24 hours per week across 4-5 days, with every fourth weekend off; shifts typically between 6am and 10pm. Flexibility discussed at interview.
