Senior Support Worker – Ty George, Bridgend - Full Time 45.5 Hours Per Week - £12.80 – £13.70 Per Hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).

We’re now looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team in Bridgend. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career and play a key role in supporting both individuals and the wider staff team.
Responsibilities
* Lead shifts and provide day-to-day guidance and support to the staff team
* Ensure person-centred support plans are followed and regularly reviewed
* Support adults with daily living skills, emotional wellbeing, and independence
* Work collaboratively with managers, families, and external professionals
* Maintain accurate records, contribute to reviews, and support risk assessments
* Promote a positive, calm, and safe environment within the service
* Act as a role model, supporting team development and good practice
What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a support or care role (ideally supporting adults with SEMH and/or autism)
* QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
* Full UK driving licence
* Good understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements
* Confidence to lead shifts and support others
* A calm, resilient, and person-centred approach
* Please note: This role involves regulated activity with adults and requires an Enhanced DBS check.
