Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per year
Hours: Days Monday - Friday with every other Saturday morning
Location: Oxford
C&B Recruitment are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic to join a well-established business in Oxford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HGV Technician, Plant Mechanic, HGV Fitter, or Heavy Vehicle Engineer looking to join a supportive workshop environment.
Responsibilities
* Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and plant machinery
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
* Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Prepare vehicles and equipment for MOT/LOLER inspections
* Ensure high standards of safety and efficiency in the workshop
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience as a HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic / HGV Fitter
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Plant, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
