Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, therapeutic care, including personal care, to young people with complex needs. Offer patience, understanding, and encouragement, supporting young people through challenges and celebrating their successes. Lead and inspire the team, promoting child-centred, therapeutic models to achieve the best outcomes. Build trusting relationships with young people, fostering their emotional and social development. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, nurturing, and supportive home environment. Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures in line with Ofsted standards. About You Essential: Minimum of 12 months' experience in complex care within a residential childcare or health and social care setting. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Health and Social Care. Strong communication skills and a naturally caring, flexible, and resilient nature. Ability to work flexibly, including long day shifts and sleep-ins. Knowledge or experience of child-centred, therapeutic models. Full UK Driving Licence. Knowledge of Makaton or British Sign Language (BSL). Previous experience in a senior or mentoring role.
