About the Role
Our client in the Darlington area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Joiner to join the Facilities Management and Building Services team. This is a hands-on role carrying out a range of joinery maintenance and repair work across council properties and facilities.
The successful candidate will play an important part in maintaining buildings to a safe and high standard, ensuring repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out general joinery maintenance and repair work across council buildings
* Repairing and installing doors, frames, locks, skirting boards, and other fixtures
* Fitting and repairing kitchen units, cupboards, and worktops
* Undertaking planned and reactive maintenance tasks
* Ensuring all work is completed xxuwjjq safely and to a high standard
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Working both independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Joiner / Carpenter in maintenance
