Teaching Assistant
* Annual Salary: £21k - £24k (actual salary, dependent on experience)
* Location: Woking, Surrey
* Job Type: Term-time only
This is an outstanding and oversubscribed secondary school, seeking a passionate, talented, and rigorous Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. Day-to-day of the role:
* Work as part of the Personalisation Team, led by the SENCO, focusing on a specific area of SEND provision such as small group tutoring.
* Develop expertise in a designated area to effectively meet the needs of our diverse student cohort.
* Provide targeted support in English, Maths, and Science to students with an EHCP, both on a 1:1 basis and within small intervention groups.
* Contribute to the setup and management of EAL provision for the upcoming academic year under the guidance of the SENCO.
* Engage with continuous professional development and share best practices with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience working with students in an educational setting; experience with ASD is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to lead and develop specific areas of SEND provision.
* Strong commitment to improving educational standards and a belief in the potential of all students.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within a team.
* Passion for personal and professional growth within an educational environment.
