Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join our friendly team at our Brackmills site on a full-time, permanent basis!
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm.
As an Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day site operation through general site and compliance activities. You will offer outstanding and organized support in a friendly environment and provide helpful service.
Key Duties of an Operations Administrator
* Liaising with gatehouse staff regarding inbound/outbound loads and allocating bays/trailers.
* Ensuring inbound/outbound paperwork is processed correctly.
* Generating, organizing, and storing pick notes efficiently.
* Ensuring all outbound orders have paperwork generated and handed to the driver upon collection.
* Communicating customer requirements for orders when appropriate.
* Reporting issues to Warehouse Manager/Shift Supervisor promptly.
* Assisting warehouse staff with IT issues and escalating when needed.
* Producing detailed handovers to the following shift, highlighting potential issues and current status.
* Participating actively in the operations team and suggesting improvements for efficiency, customer satisfaction, and quality.
* Performing additional IT-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
* Experience working in an administrative role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
* Positive and clear communication skills.
* Team-oriented with loyalty and commitment to the organization and colleagues.
* Knowledge of company procedures and compliance standards.
* Professional, approachable, and helpful demeanor to ensure smooth operations.
* Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
