Ecommerce Helpdesk Advisor
The role of E-Commerce Helpdesk Advisor is ideal for candidates looking to develop a career in online commerce. This position offers exposure to all aspects of the department and aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the business's development in E-Commerce. The primary responsibility is to support users, both internal and external, across all Group E-Commerce sites.
Your Responsibilities as a Customer Service Advisor
1. Provide customer service regarding ecommerce/website issues to internal and external parties.
2. Interact with website users via email and phone.
3. Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to resolve queries.
4. Work towards deadlines and targets to ensure quick turnaround for users.
5. Take ownership of tasks and work as part of a team.
Qualifications/Experience
1. Previous positions requiring problem solving and working to deadlines.
2. Educated to GSCE level or equivalent.
Skills/Abilities
1. Understanding of social media and its implications for E-Commerce.
2. Strong knowledge of delivering excellent customer service.
3. Experience in customer service, switchboard, or dealing with the public.
4. Experience with E-Commerce tools such as Google Analytics, SEO, PPC is beneficial but training will be provided.
5. Willingness to learn, adapt, and develop a career in E-Commerce.
6. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
7. A proactive, 'can do' attitude.
8. Enjoys problem solving and working to deadlines.
9. Interest in E-Commerce, online platforms, and web trading.
