Payroll Administrator (Temporary - up to 3 months) Location: Stratford-upon-Avon Salary: £24,479 pro rata Contract: Temporary (up to 3 months)
We're currently seeking an organised and detail-focused Payroll Administrator to join a busy finance team on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a fast-paced payroll function, supporting the accurate and timely delivery of weekly and monthly payrolls.
Key responsibilities
* Assisting with the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
* Collating and inputting payroll data including new starters, leavers and contractual changes
* Setting up new employees on the payroll system, including weekly paid individuals
* Processing payroll adjustments such as allowances, deductions and benefits
* Supporting Senior Payroll Officers with day-to-day payroll administration tasks
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring payroll data is up to date
Key requirements
* Previous administrative experience, ideally within payroll or finance
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems
