Purpose of the role
To verify the accuracy, reliability, and soundness of the banks analytical models through independent validation and quality assurance.
Accountabilities
* Develop and implement validation plans for models.
* Prepare documentation explaining model methodology, assumptions, limitations, and risks.
* Create ongoing monitoring frameworks to ensure model accuracy and effectiveness, with proper controls and governance.
* Assess model performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Conduct back testing and stress testing to evaluate robustness.
