Responsibilities
* The Procurement Coordinator – Operational Procurement is responsible for supporting the end-to-end procurement process by managing purchase orders and maintaining accurate supplier and procurement records. The coordinator ensures data accuracy across procurement systems and provides reporting and analytical support to help the procurement team make informed decisions. Additionally, they help ensure compliance with company policies and contribute to process improvements.
* Manage procurement activities within Oracle ERP, including item creation and supplier maintenance, requisition processing, purchase order updates and administration of blanket purchase agreements to ensure data accuracy and transactional efficiency.
* Identify opportunities to continuously improve any and all procurement processes and cost efficiencies.
* Support Procurement Team with decision-making through reporting and data analysis.
Qualifications
* Previous experience within Procurement or Administration is advantageous.
* Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle) and Microsoft Excel – preferred, not required.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a growth and flexible mindset.
Preferred/Plus
* Capable to manage the complexities of operating with corporate/global oriented suppliers.
* Experience in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/life sciences is preferred although not essential.
