Residential Conveyancing Lawyer
Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor or CILEX Qualified Conveyancer (2+ PQE) seeking a friendly, well-established firm with a genuinely supportive team culture? The Role: You will handle a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion, working closely with colleagues and clients to ensure a smooth and efficient process. The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a full caseload of residential property transactions including:
o Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
o Transfers of equity and re-mortgages
o New build transactions and unregistered titles
* Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documentation, and related correspondence
* Liaising effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
* Ensuring all transactions comply with current legal and regulatory requirements
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records
* Delivering a high standard of client service and building lasting client relationships
If applying at a Senior Level, additional duties include:
* Taking an active role in local business development and networking events
* Contributing to the ongoing growth and success of the conveyancing department
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Conveyancer with at least 2 years PQE
* Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing law and procedure
* Excellent client-facing and communication skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy caseload independently
* A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues
* Ideally local to Crowborough or the surrounding area
