Overview
An established construction contractor in Suffolk is looking to appoint an Undergraduate / Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This role is ideally suited to undergraduates in the final year of their Quantity Surveying degree who are keen to gain hands-on experience alongside their studies, with the potential to develop into a permanent graduate role upon completion of their course. You will be involved in a variety of projects, with a particular focus on converting office spaces into high-quality residential flats, as well as supporting broader residential developments. Responsibilities
* Assisting with cost planning, tendering, and subcontractor management.
* Supporting the commercial team with valuations, variations, and progress reports.
* Carrying out site visits to monitor project progress.
* Preparing accurate project documentation and cost analysis.
* Working closely with project managers, site teams, and external partners.

Qualifications
* Currently in the final year of a Quantity Surveying degree.
* A genuine interest in residential development, ideally with exposure to residential flats through placements, internships, or coursework.

Salary
Salary in the region of £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience).
