The Digital Marketing & Internal Engagement Exec supports BD’s mission to advance the world of health by shaping a more customer‑centric digital presence and promotion, whilst supporting the delivery of high quality targeted information to BD associates. This multifaceted position supports our businesses generation of impactful content, optimising digital touchpoints, and enhancing omnichannel performance by increasing traffic and dwell time across bd.com/en‑uk and social platforms. Simultaneously, the role supports strategic internal business unit and organisational connectivity via Maxwell, keeping associates informed of news, campaigns and events, and ensuring content across internal and external channels remains accurate, up‑to‑date, engaging, and aligned to corporate goals. This role partners our business units and functions to improve digital customer engagement, strengthen internal connectivity, share actionable insights, and support the creation and delivery of compelling content that accelerates both our commercial and organisational objectives.

Main Responsibilities (60% Digital Marketing)

* Enhance website user experience by collaborating with Business Units (BU) and MarCom to improve content, navigation, accessibility, and overall usability, ensuring a seamless customer journey across digital platforms.
* Monitor and share GEO/SEO best practices to optimize website content, structure, and performance, driving increased organic traffic and improved search rankings.
* Support Country BU marketing in the planning and development of more complex multi‑channel digital campaigns, providing context and guidance to the marketing teams on best practice and areas to optimize.
* Ensure UKI BU Marketing submits approved requests for ongoing development of customer‑centric website content to improve SEO and dwell time for the products and services that matter most.
* Help BUs develop social media tailored posts to support commercial plays & campaigns.
* Ensure brand consistency.
* Utilise available resources/analytics and BU campaign plans to improve access to tailored content that matters to our customer.
* Monitor and report on the performance of UKI lead digital activities across our channel portfolio and devise strategies to increase traffic or conversion.


Associate Engagement (40%)

* Work alongside BU Leadership, Marketing and HR team and other key stakeholders to plan, review and support the release of timely and connected communications or access to information via Email and Maxwell, ensuring communications land and are visible, read, and understood.
* Work with our businesses and associated functions to develop, and regularly appraise / edit / update content on Maxwell.
* Enable our businesses to deliver high quality organisational and targeted communications through email and via Maxwell, or TV screens across multiple offices.
* Help develop the ability to monitor, report the performance of communications across channels and devise strategies to maintain or increase engagement.
* Explore and facilitate automation of targeted or reinforcing internal communications campaigns, including drip campaigns and triggered events.


You’re a Phenomenal Fit If You Have

* Passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing and people engagement via digital.
* Experience with social media networks including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
* Experience with paid media platforms including Google Ads.
* The ability to work and learn as an efficient, reliable and flexible team member.
* Excellent organisational skills, with a sharp attention to detail.
* Creative flair to bring fresh ideas to the team.
* Excellent written English communications skills.
* Ability to work on a diverse range of tasks, working to deadlines.
* Willingness to accept and act on feedback.
* Ability to manage multiple projects with numerous stakeholders.
* Proficient using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Adobe Cloud tools, including knowledge of and experience with Photoshop, and ideally content management systems like AEM & HTML. Vibecoding experience would also be beneficial.

Salary Range Information

£32,400.00 - £49,425.00 GBP Annual
