Level 3 Childcare (CCLD) Teaching Assistant Full-Time Position Teaching Personnel are excited to announce an opportunity for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning, and Development (or equivalent). This full-time role is based at an SEN school in Ystrad Mynach, catering to pupils aged 3-19 with diverse needs, including physical disabilities, autism, challenging behaviours, and speech and language difficulties. Position Details: Rate: £89.38 per day Schedule: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 Location: Ystrad Mynach Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with the class teacher, support staff, and parents to provide optimal support for the pupils. Foster strong working relationships with pupils in small groups or one-on-one settings to aid their academic and social development. Demonstrate proactivity and resilience, adapting to challenging situations with ease. Employ a positive and engaging approach to support children with special educational needs. Assist the class teacher in lesson planning and tailoring lessons to meet individual pupil needs. Be prepared to undertake personal care duties as needed.
