Role Overview:
The UK/IR & Export Indirect Sales Manager is responsible for executing a growth strategy based on Watlow's 80/20 Pareto client delegation approach.
This leadership role involves managing and developing a network of Prime/Key partners to maximize growth through indirect sales channels in the UK, Ireland, Africa, and potentially the Middle East.
The role requires strong understanding of UK/IR and international sales, partner management skills, and the ability to drive performance across diverse markets.
You can work hybrid or remote.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement an indirect sales strategy focusing on the Pareto principle to manage low-value clients and maximize revenue in UK/IR and international markets.
2. Align the sales strategy with company objectives, ensuring measurable results tailored to specific markets.
3. Create a Business Plan to articulate the indirect sales approach, aiming for sustainable growth.
4. Drive indirect sales results across the markets by working with channel partners and internal teams to meet targets.
5. Build and maintain relationships with key indirect sales channels, ensuring alignment with growth goals.
6. Identify and onboard new channel partners to improve coverage and performance.
7. Unify Watlow Channel partners to align with the full portfolio and strategic goals for UK/IR and export markets.
8. Focus on top-tier clients driving most revenue, optimizing resources for others via distributors and e-commerce.
9. Ensure customer satisfaction by training partners on account management and solutions tailored to each market.
10. Enhance distributor sales and technical independence to reduce internal resource dependency.
11. Set KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring accountability and progress tracking.
12. Provide regular updates, forecasts, and insights to senior leadership, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications And Attributes:

* Proven ability to manage and develop indirect sales channels globally.

* Expertise in channel management and local market adaptation.

* Fluent in English; second language is a plus.
