Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for a Gear Cutter to work with our client based in Burton on Trent.
We are looking for a skilled individual for machine setting, programming and operation of gear and spline cutting equipment. The role requires an apprentice trained or time served gear cutting specialist with specific knowledge of gear manufacturing processes.
Details
* Hours - 7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7am to 1pm Friday
* Pay - £20 per hour
* Initial 6 month contract
The Role
* Setting, programming and operating gear cutting machinery
* Understanding gear nomenclature and measurement techniques.
The Person
* Minimum 1-year experience in relevant rail or automotive industry.
* Be practical mechanically oriented.
* Possess good problem-solving skills.
* Recognised engineering qualification required.
