Transdev are looking for a confident night shift controller who will be responsible for allocating, planning, and resourcing the CCH crew movements in accordance with the winter and summer schedules. Ensure that the service is delivered within agreed budgetary limitations, whilst complying with service level agreements, statutory requirements, and company policies. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: Allocate and manage driver shifts and vehicle movements efficiently. Monitor service performance and address operational issues. Communicate with emergency services and internal teams. Handle complaints, lost property, and record-keeping. Prepare next-day rotas and maintain accurate reports. Ensure health & safety requirements are adhered to and report incidents or hazards. Occasionally perform driving duties and support other controllers. About You The successful candidate will, ideally, have previous experience in managing a control room within the transportation/logistics sector along with: Working knowledge of the London and Heathrow geographical area Evidence of working as a member of a team to ensure shared goals are achieved Relevant experience in communicating with senior stakeholders and leadership Excellent planning, organising, and prioritising skills are essential for the role. Strong critical thinking skills, with an ability to work in a dynamic operational environment Excellent Customer relationship skills and People management is essential. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint In addition, you will also need: Degree in business administration, or equivalent experience. A collaborator with an eye for continuous improvement. Qualified First Aid and Fire Warden trained.
