Temporary Works Coordinator
We are looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to join a main contractor in Hertfordshire. This role will oversee the planning, design, and safe implementation of temporary structures and systems on the company’s sites.
Role & Responsibilities
During the first month you will be based in the office learning the basics and then begin visiting sites. The role will include:
* Planning, design and safe implementation of temporary works
* Ensuring compliance with CSCS, SMSTS and Temporary Works Course requirements
* Working closely with the MD and Construction Director for mentorship and support
* Progressively taking on autonomous responsibilities after 6 months of mentorship
About the Company
Our client has a turnover of over £100m and focuses on Education and Healthcare projects ranging from £500k to £20m.
Qualifications
* Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
* Experience working for a contractor or consultancy preferred but not essential
* Confidence in communicating critical elements and ensuring calculations are accurate
* Graduates invited to apply
* Residing within 15 miles of Hitchin
