We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Recovery Worker to join our team. In this role, you will support service users with substance use issues by providing effective case management and person‑centred interventions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users' strengths and risk factors. Develop, review, and implement recovery and risk management plans. Maintain high‑quality case notes and produce reports as required. Deliver one‑to‑one and group interventions to support recovery and harm reduction. Distribute and provide training in the use of naloxone. Deliver harm reduction services, including needle exchange and health screening. Collaborate effectively with statutory and non‑statutory services, attending meetings and making referrals as required. Maintain accurate recording and data collection in line with organisational policies and information governance standards. Support service users to access clinical and recovery services. Essential Skills and Experience: Knowledge of substance use and recovery interventions. Skilled in assessing and managing risk. Understanding of engagement and harm reduction strategies, including suicide and self‑harm awareness. Strong organisational and IT skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively. Experience of working in partnership with external agencies. Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and presenting a positive, non‑judgmental approach. Desirable Skills and Experience: Relevant qualification in substance use or a related field.
