We need a proactive and experienced Corporate Sales and Events Manager. About the Role To create opportunities to promote and sell the venues and space at Dreamland with an emphasis on Private & Corporate Hire, Filming and Photography. Responsible for all aspects of operational corporate commercial activities across the business, including assistance with venue diary programming and content manage the event planning and logistics, catering operation and commercial concessions. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Corporate Sales & Events Develop and manage commercial relationships with Third Party Partners, negotiating fees for internal services and Dreamland assigned spaces and managing receipt of the relevant commission and recharges. Develop and maintain successful relationships with private and corporate clients, generating new business and maintaining business in line with targets. Manage the corporate programming diary, reporting on availability, logging activity on the booking system and updating event information. Deliver maximum revenue from all events. Generate additional income through up selling the facilities of the venue, maintaining and where possible, increasing the overall profitability of each specific event type. Manage all corporate sales enquiries. Source and attend networking events. Undertake any other relevant duties or reasonable requests as set by the Commercial Director. Manage all corporate event hire P&L’s and reconcile figures post event to share with the Finance Team & Commercial Director. Enhance and maintain the profile Dreamland within the industry. Operations Manage the operations of all corporate commercial events with the assistance of operations and production, to include pre-event operations management in line with venue licensing and H&S restrictions, and developing and delivering on event management plans, including on the day Venue Management. Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practice as required by current legislation and the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and practices. Work closely with the relevant departments on event hires. Retail Manage the Dreamland retail department, purchasing new stock in line with the assigned budget and brand guidelines, assigning appropriate retail prices in line with the target audience and financial targets, and entering into commercial revenue sharing agreements with third party sellers following approval from the Commercial Director. What We’re Looking For: NVQ3/BTEC/City & Guilds/HND/Degree or equivalent in Commercial management or similar. Flexible availability, including weekends and late-night shifts, to meet operational demands. A good working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements A good working knowledge of operational requirements surrounding different types. Budget management and P&L experience Knowledge and experience in creating proposals for both event and sponsorship partners Experience in creating agreements Excellent communication & organisational skills Creative thinker Ability to plan ahead Demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving Good negotiating skills Ability to work on own initiative Why Join Us?
