About the CompanyElevation Engineering & Manufacturing, a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, is working exclusively with a leading UK manufacturer in the aerospace sector. They’re now seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their skilled team.
The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Sheet Metal Worker with experience in high-precision manufacturing. You’ll produce components to strict aerospace standards, working from technical drawings and ensuring all products meet exacting specifications.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out sheet metal assembly, riveting, drilling, pressing, and finishing operations
* Use hand and air-powered tools safely and effectively
* Work to tight tolerances and aerospace standards (NADCAP / AS9100)
* Interpret and follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and technique sheets
* Complete maintenance checks and report issues promptly
* Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in sheet metal and manual press work (essential)
* Confident reading and following engineering documentation
* Used to working to production targets
* Aerospace or precision manufacturing background (preferred)
* NVQ or qualification in engineering (desirable)
* Knowledge of Lean / 5S principles
* Strong attention to detail and quality focus
