An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic pharmacist to join the clinical pharmacy team at East Lothian Community Hospital (ELCH) in Haddington.
About The Role
ELCH is a busy, modern community hospital specialising in Medicines of the Elderly, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and step-down care. In addition, the Rehabilitation Service for patients with acquired brain injury, stroke, orthopaedic injuries, limb amputation and progressive neurological disorders. The on-site pharmacy department also supports numerous outpatient clinics and the Hospital at Home service.

The postholder will work within a well-established and experienced pharmacy team to deliver high quality care to these patients, contribute to the development and delivery of the clinical pharmacy service and be a key member of the multidisciplinary teams. The postholder will also have close links with other members of the clinical pharmacy team across NHS Lothian.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated pharmacist with a passion for delivering exceptional clinical care.
Essential Qualifications And Experience
* A Master of Pharmacy Degree (or equivalent).
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Completed training or equivalent competence mapped to the RPS Post-Registration Foundation Pharmacist Curriculum.
Skills And Attributes
* Experience in proactively influencing prescribing, using clinical knowledge to optimise patient care.
* A strong patient-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, enabling effective decision-making in an acute medical setting.
* A proactive attitude, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
