We are looking for a driven, resilient and highly committed HR Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team at Berwick Care.
This is not a role for someone who wants to simply “do their job.” This is an opportunity for someone who takes real ownership, thrives on responsibility, and is motivated to go above and beyond to deliver results.
You will play a key role in attracting, recruiting and supporting our people across the business. From managing vacancies to supporting managers with people-related matters, this is a fast-paced, hands-on role where challenges are part of the job — and how you respond to them is what sets you apart.
Experience is valuable, but mindset is everything. We are looking for someone who demonstrates:
Loyalty & Commitment – Someone who genuinely cares about the business, the team, and the people within it
Drive & Work Ethic – Willing to go above and beyond to support both recruitment and people management
Ownership & Accountability – You take responsibility and see things through, not pass them on
Adaptability – Comfortable managing both recruitment and wider HR responsibilities
Positive, “Can-Do” Attitude – No “that’s not my job” mindset — you’re proactive, solutions-focused, and hands-on
Requirements
* Own recruitment and people processes
* Be ready to adapt — priorities change and no two days are the same
* Step into new tasks, even outside your comfort zone — no “not my job” mindset

o Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
o Support absence management, performance monitoring, and employee engagement
o Assist with investigations and HR documentation where required
o Ensure HR processes are followed in line with company standards and current employment legislation
o Support managers in handling people matters in a fair, consistent and compliant manner
* Experience & Mindset
o Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or a similar role is beneficial
