We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Care Coordinator to join a growing domiciliary care team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced care environment and is ready to take the next step toward a more people‑focused, HR‑aligned career path.
What You'll Be Doing as Senior Care Coordinator
As a Senior Care Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring high‑quality care is delivered to people in their own homes. You'll support the smooth running of the service and the training of 2 care coordinators while taking on additional responsibilities that prepare you for future progression into HR, compliance, or operational leadership.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Coordinating daily care schedules and ensuring all visits are covered safely and efficiently
Supporting care staff with guidance, problem‑solving and day‑to‑day leadership
Acting as a point of contact for clients, families and external professionals
Managing urgent changes, responding to incidents and ensuring continuity of care
Completing care assessments, reviews and quality checks
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Assisting with recruitment tasks such as interviewing, onboarding and training
Supporting HR‑related duties including staff supervision, performance monitoring and wellbeing initiatives
What We're Looking For in a Senior Care Coordinator
You'll be a great fit if you are:
Experienced in domiciliary care coordination or a similar role
Confident managing schedules, staff and client needs
Calm under pressure and able to make quick, safe decisions
Organised, proactive and able to prioritise effectively
A strong communicator with a supportive leadership style
Passionate about delivering excellent care and developing others
Essential requirements:
Previous experience in care coordination
Strong understanding of CQC expectations
Good IT and administrative skills (Usage of People Planner)
Full UK driving licence
