We’re working with one of the UK’s most loved high street retailers to find a brilliant Estates Manager — someone who knows how to take full ownership of a growing retail estate and drive real results across leases, facilities, and store development.

With hundreds of health, beauty & cosmetics stores already across the UK&I — and plenty more to come — this is a key hire in a business that’s investing in smart growth, smarter supplier models, and best-in-class store environments.

If you’ve got multi-site retail property experience, you’ll know how rare it is to get this much autonomy and influence.

The Role

This is a strategic and hands-on position where you'll be leading the full estate lifecycle:

* Shape and deliver the UK&I estate strategy: acquisitions, closures, refurbishments, relocations
* Lead lease negotiations, rent reviews, renewals, and commercial terms with landlords and agents
* Drive supplier and contractor performance — across FM, trades, and professional services
* Manage a small but capable team (Maintenance and Store Design)
* Oversee facilities compliance, service charges, business rates, utilities and costs
* Support store improvements while minimising disruption to trading
* Keep property data accurate and actionable for cost control and planning
* Travel approximately 2–3 days per week to visit sites across the UK&I

What You’ll Need

* Confident lease negotiator with strong knowledge of commercial property terms
* Hands-on leadership with supplier management and facilities oversight
* Commercially savvy — able to spot inefficiencies and drive value
* Clear communicator and influencer — able to build trust at senior level
* Resilient, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment

The Package

* £62,000–£72,000 basic salary (negotiable based on experience)
* Hybrid working — office days in Ascot when not travelling
* Full benefits including pension, healthcare and generous holiday
