Description
As part of our Emergency Response Team, you’ll be the first on the scene at customers’ homes, making you the face of our brand for people worried about potential gas escapes or carbon monoxide alarms.
Key Responsibilities
You may deal with emergency services on behalf of our customers, protecting lives. Customers could be vulnerable, elderly, or seeking help. Your empathy and pride in caring for people and ensuring their safety in their homes are vital. The role is varied, including installation, replacement, and maintenance of gas meters, high-rise and safety surveys, and fitting cooker safety valves.
Experience and Qualifications
Good communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. You must have a CCN1 or CMA1 qualification; MET1 is beneficial but not mandatory. Experience with gas appliances, testing, purging, and pipework commissioning is required. Knowledge of standards, legislation, health and safety, and a full UK driving license is also necessary.
