Job Description
Summary
Working for a growing business within Morden, you will become part of the office team as a Resource Planner.
This is a Monday to Friday role, working from 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.
Responsibilities for Resource Planner
* Allocate and schedule service work for a team of field-based Engineers.
* Plan daily engineer work, ensuring all customer visits are booked and confirmed promptly.
* Coordinate with engineers to ensure timely completion of jobs and resolve scheduling conflicts.
* Handle telephone calls, emails, complaints, order queries, and general enquiries efficiently.
* Gather full addresses, contact names, and parking details from customers before engineer visits.
* Act as a point of contact for customers regarding maintenance jobs, providing updates and addressing enquiries.
* Schedule appointments with customers and ensure their satisfaction.
* Reactively coordinate engineers for immediate work, such as call-outs.
* Organise parking for engineers using online platforms.
* File and log paper schedules from engineers, scan documents into the relevant system.
* Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
* Prioritise workload to meet customer expectations and maintain high service standards.
* Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations.
* Support sales teams to enable them to focus on proactive selling.

Requirements for Resource Planner
* Strong background in resource planning.
* Good knowledge of Central London, Greater London, and the South East.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels and backgrounds.
* Professional and friendly interaction with customers and engineers via phone and email.
* Ability to plan and organise tasks to achieve goals.
* Problem-solving skills with the confidence to make decisions after analysis.
* Team player willing to participate fully in team activities.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
