As the Contact Manager, you will work closely with business stakeholders to create and execute short and long-term sourcing strategies. You will shape procurement approaches for varied sourcing activities and lead the contracting with our supply-chain to maximise value and minimise risk. This Contract Manager position is responsible for Heathrow's Corporate and Digital Workplace products and services procurement, and you will also have the chance to work with our Design and Innovation team who run trials for new and innovative ideas at the airport, supporting from inception to delivery. Responsibilities Leading and influencing strategic and tactical sourcing activities technology projects that deliver new solutions for the airport or upgrades and enhancements to existing solutions; Constructively challenging business plans and strategy documents to ensure robustness of approach that maximises commercial opportunity and mitigates risk; Managing contracts and supplier relationships to maximise commercial and contractual benefit; and Supporting and maintaining all necessary agreed processes for supplier management, claims management, benefits and savings and continuous improvement targets whilst meeting all contract, governance, regulatory, risk-reward and exit strategy requirements. Qualifications Experience of defining and creating procurement approaches to deliver stakeholder outcomes Advanced partnering, influencing and negotiation skills to build strong relationships Ideally a professional qualification of commercial or legal bias or able to demonstrate equivalent capability coupled with experience in procurement roles Experience in a variety of Procurement and Contracting models, using a range of reimbursement/pricing models #LI-Hybrid About Us There's something so special about working at the world's most iconic airport. Working Location Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
