Soltherm External Insulations Limited is expanding. As we grow our product portfolio and strengthen our commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation, we are looking to enhance our Technical Department with the addition of a Site Technician. The ideal candidate is ideally based in the South of England with preferred proximity to our Head Office in Milton Keynes, although travel will be required to projects all over the UK. You will operate on a hybrid basis, splitting your time between site inspections, home working, and Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of External Wall Insulation (EWI) & cladding systems, working on projects that demand the highest standards in line with the Building Safety Act and the principles of the Golden Thread of Information. You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery, inspection, and assurance of EWIand cladding systems across a range of projects. Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams, you will ensure that installations meet regulatory, technical, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out site inspections of EWI installations to ensure compliance with system specifications and industry standards Provide technical guidance, training and support to installers and contractors Assist in maintaining robust documentation in line with Golden Thread requirements Identify and report non-conformities, supporting corrective actions Liaise with clients, principal contractors, and consultants to provide technical assurance Support product development feedback loops from site to technical/design teams Take ownership of technical reporting and client-facing assurance Contribute to internal technical standards and process improvements What Were Looking For Experience in EWI, faades, or construction site inspections Good understanding of building regulations and installation practices Strong attention to detail and communication skills Knowledge of compliance frameworks, including the Building Safety Act Experience with technical reporting and stakeholder engagement Knowledge of PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements) Why Join Soltherm?
