Working pattern/flexible working
The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, allowing a mixture of office and home-based work based on personal needs and business requirements. The team aims for around 1 day a week in the office for connection and attends key meetings on an ad-hoc basis.
Key responsibilities
1. Support the delivery of projects assigned by the Digital Product Lead and Product Design Manager across Credit Cards, Travel Money, International Payments, and Loans products.
2. Work with stakeholders to define and agree on digital product design requirements.
3. Assist in the delivery and maintenance of the JLFS Design System to ensure consistent digital user experiences and efficient product development.
4. Collaborate within a multi-skilled, global Credit and Banking team to enhance the JLFS customer experience and deliver value.
5. Coordinate with Providers and JLP stakeholders to implement omnichannel journey improvements.
6. Maintain skills relevant to Digital Product Design and JLFS standards.
7. Invest in personal and professional development, serving as a role model for Partners.
8. Utilize insights and networks to stay updated on customer needs, market trends, and technological advancements.
9. Ensure compliance with John Lewis policies and legal frameworks.
Essential skills/experience
* Relevant technical or business degree or apprenticeship.
* Experience in digital product design, UX, UI, and related technologies (e.g., Figma).
* Deep understanding of User-Centered Design, Interaction Design, and UX principles.
* Proficiency in UI design, prototyping, and design systems.
* Experience collaborating with stakeholders and technology teams.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills.
Desirable skills/experience
* Knowledge of JLFS Global Credit and Banking products.
* Understanding of financial promotions and compliance regulations.
