Diagnostic Imaging Assistant – Hemel Hempstead
Full-time, permanent position with competitive salary plus benefits.
Responsibilities
* Assist qualified radiographers with day‑to‑day duties and provide patient support in the imaging department.
* Enter data into the Patient/Radiology Information System (RIS/PIS), share data, and distribute images using PACS, IEP and other associated systems.
* Assist Consultant Radiologists with ultrasound lists.
* Participate in regular reviews of clinic activities to ensure patient journey, comfort, safety and services remain at the highest level.
The role requires shift‑based working: 37.5 hours per week over a 7‑day rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum five GCSEs or equivalent (Grades A–C) including Maths, English and a Science subject, or NVQ Level.
* Experience in undertaking patient care, tasks and activities across modalities, ideally within a healthcare/private setting.
