Role Overview

Role Purpose
The Assembly Team Leader will coordinate daily production, enforce best practices, and foster a results-driven culture, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
* Lead daily team meetings, set production goals, and communicate safety updates.
* Manage capacity, schedule production using IFS Shop Floor Workbench, and adjust staffing/overtime.
* Maintain high quality standards, ensuring SOPs, ATPs, and PDI are followed.
* Support recovery from production disruptions.
People Leadership
* Conduct performance reviews and provide real-time feedback.
* Coach and mentor team members, fostering Lean and Continuous Improvement mindsets.
* Lead by example, supporting team success hands-on when needed.
Lean and Continuous Improvement
* Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing practices using tools like 5S, TPM, 5 Why, and Kaizen.
* Identify and act on opportunities for process improvement.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
* Hands-on knowledge of Lean principles, including 5S, TPM, 8 Wastes, Problem Solving (5 Why), Kaizen.
* Experience with MRP systems (IFS preferred).
* Strong communication and leadership skills.
* Proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and ability to motivate others.
