Hours: 15 hours per week Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tutor & Carer to provide tailored educational and pastoral support to a Year 10 student. This role combines academic tutoring in core subjects with a caring, supportive approach to help the learner build confidence, remain engaged, and make positive progress. Key Responsibilities Deliver one-to-one tuition in core subjects (English, Maths, and/or Science), tailored to the student’s individual learning needs Support the student with homework, exam preparation, and reinforcement of key concepts Create a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment Encourage positive behaviour, motivation, and engagement in learning Communicate effectively with parents/carers and relevant professionals Essential: Experience tutoring core subjects at secondary level Experience working with Year 10 students (preferred) Experience supporting students with SEND & additional needs Enhanced DBS or willingness to retrieve one
