Job Description
United Living is hiring a CAD Technician to join our expanding Design team, offering engineering support for major infrastructure projects nationwide. This role is based at our head office in Warrington. All projects involved are Nationally Significant Infrastructure projects across the UK.
Specific Duties
 1. Prepare site designs to operator guidance and requirements as requested by Design Manager
 2. Be confident in the use of AutoCAD (2D) software
 3. Provide input and produce Planning and Construction drawings using AutoCAD (2D) software across multiple projects
 4. Make recommendations for further investigation work
 5. Carry out further investigation work on drawings with the aid of Project Engineer Reports and Design Manager knowledge
 6. Ensure all work is in accordance with GBC policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety policies
 7. Work on other technical skills and abilities as required electrical design skills etc. to become a multi-skilled design technician
 8. Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Skills
 21. Relevant Post-Graduate role - background in Civil / Structural Engineering / Building Studies / Product Design / Technical Design.
 22. Strong AutoCAD (2D) skills
 23. Computer literate, including software packages such as Microsoft Office
 24. Able to record detail & complete documentation manually & electronically.
 25. Good communicator & well organised.
