Are you a passionate Drama Teacher eager to bring creativity and energy to both the stage and the classroom?
GSL Education are recruiting a Drama Teacher for a thriving secondary school in Dronfield (S18). This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to deliver engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, while helping students build confidence, communication, and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities of the Drama Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Prepare students for practical and written Drama assessments.
* Encourage creativity, self-expression, and performance skills in a supportive environment.
* Direct school productions, drama clubs, and enrichment activities.
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote the performing arts across the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification.
* A specialism in Drama or Performing Arts.
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A passion for helping students develop confidence both on and off the stage.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply via GSL Education.
