Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to join one of our vibrant partner secondary schools in S12 in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students, develop musical talent, and contribute to a thriving Performing Arts department.
About the Role
As a Music Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and practical music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
* Teach a varied curriculum including performance, composition, music theory, and use of music technology.
* Encourage creativity and confidence through singing, instrumental work, and ensemble activities.
* Use assessment to monitor progress and plan effective interventions.
* Support extracurricular music opportunities such as choirs, bands, concerts, and school productions.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement.
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
* Holds QTS or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome).
* Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Music education.
* Can inspire students of all abilities through dynamic, practical teaching.
* Brings excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Is confident using instruments, music software, and digital tools.
* Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
