An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pastry Chef to join a highly regarded, award-winning Indian vegetarian restaurant — holding a Bib Gourmand for over a decade and 2 AA Rosettes, with clear ambitions to progress towards Michelin-star level.
This is a newly created role, offering the chance to take full ownership of pastry and play a pivotal role in the next stage of the restaurant’s evolution.

The Opportunity
This is not a standard pastry position — this is a blank canvas.
For the first time, the kitchen is introducing a dedicated pastry chef to support the Chef Patron in pushing standards, creativity and overall offering to the next level.
You will:
* Take full ownership of pastry across the restaurant
* Design and deliver desserts, petit fours, ice creams and sweet elements
* Contribute to seasonal menu development
* Work closely with the Chef Patron on the restaurant’s progression towards Michelin standard
* Introduce structure, creativity and innovation into an untapped area of the kitchen

The Package
* £30,000–£32,000 base salary
* Tronc on top (approx. £2,000–£3,500 per year)

* Background in Rosette, Michelin or high-quality kitchens
* Strong pastry fundamentals with a creative edge
