BAND 5 Community Treatment and Care
(Care home and Housebound Vaccinations)
Role of the department:
Community Treatment and Care services (CTAC) are part of the Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP) that was agreed as part of the 2018 GP contract. CTAC gives patients access to parts of their healthcare through NHS services that were traditionally provided by general practice.
This service includes Vaccination delivery, nurse led Treatment Rooms now known as CTAC centres and GP based phlebotomy services. The post holder will join the CTAC nursing team to support the delivery of these services and will report to a team of CTAC Co-ordinator Band 6 nurses.
The job the applicant will be doing:
The successful applicant will work across services within Community Treatment and Care (CTAC). While primarily based in CTAC Vaccination team, they will also provide flexible support to other CTAC departments, including GP-based clinics out with peak vaccination periods in the winter and spring period.
