Shoreline is a bar and restaurant in Newport-on-Tay. It is an incredible venue right out the water, with beach access, and an outdoor decking area. We're looking for an experienced Head Chef to take the reins in the kitchen.

What You'll Do
As Head Chef, you'll be the creative and operational force behind our kitchen, leading the team and ensuring every dish that leaves the pass meets our high standards. You'll have the opportunity to craft the menu, introduce new specials, and develop a team that's passionate about creating memorable meals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the kitchen team to deliver excellent food at all times
* Creating and designing seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, local ingredients
* Overseeing kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering, and prep
* Managing food costs and maintaining budgeted margins
* Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and food safety compliance
* Leading, training, and mentoring the kitchen staff
* Collaborating with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service
* Bringing creativity and passion to every dish, ensuring it stands out
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a busy kitchen
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team
* A genuine passion for cooking, food quality, and presentation
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen operations
* Creativity and a flair for designing new dishes and specials
* Experience in managing kitchen budgets, ordering, and stock control
* A calm and composed leader, even in high-pressure situations
